In a bridal shop she meets Cara, a young artist struggling to get over her ex-girlfriend, and the two begin a connection that leads Sophia to question the nature of her relationships, her career and the consequences of being modern.

You can buy THE MODERN in many places, but I’d personally recommend going into your favourite bookstore, the one that you’re most enthusiastic about supporting, and buying or ordering it there. If you are overwhelmed by choice, buy it from a bookstore that photographs dogs and puts them on Instagram.
